How to get to Harbour Island
Harbour Island has no airport of its own. Nearly every trip follows the same three steps.
Fly to North Eleuthera
Most visitors connect through Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Charlotte, Atlanta or Nassau. Check current airlines and schedules before you book.
Take a taxi to the dock
Taxis meet flights and take you to the water taxi dock, about 5 to 10 minutes away. The fare is typically around $5 per person, a bit more if you are alone.
Take the water taxi across
The crossing takes about 5 to 10 minutes and usually costs a few dollars per person. In season, water taxis run until about 10 p.m. and often later.
